Temporary GL Accountant

Position: Temporary GL Accountant at Tabor Village
Elevate your accounting skills with Tabor Village as a temporary GL Accountant. This six-month contract focuses on financial project implementation and supporting a smooth system transition.

You will support the organization’s financial operations under the guidance of the Finance Director. Essential responsibilities include maintaining the General Ledger, validating financial data, and assisting with reconciliations during the new financial system implementation. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you work on process improvements and support financial analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Receivable for timely postings

• Validate financial data and assist with system testing

• Prepare and reconcile benefit expense allocations

• Monitor cash balances and recommend transfers

• Prepare monthly financial statements and account reconciliations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant education

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting

• Strong knowledge of financial systems and regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to communicate effectively in a team
