Join MNP's Cross Border Individual Tax team as a Senior Accountant, providing expert tax advice on cross-border assignments while navigating a complex regulatory framework.

This Senior Accountant role involves preparing individual income tax returns for U.S. and Canadian citizens. You will deliver industry insights on Canadian and U.S. tax regulations, participate in expatriate policy design, and advise on tax changes while collaborating closely with clients. Leverage your expertise to mitigate compliance risks for client organizations, enhancing their operations and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage U.S. individual tax return preparation for various client profiles

• Assist in cross-border income tax and estate planning

• Deliver high-quality tax analysis and client presentations

• Lead engagement teams and mentor junior staff

• Identify compliance issues and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration

• CPA designation or in progress

• 2-4 years public accounting or tax experience

• Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax regulations

• Proficiency with accounting and tax software
