Temporary GL Accountant

Position: Temporary GL Accountant at Tabor Village
Contribute your accounting expertise as a Temporary GL Accountant at Tabor Village. This six-month project role focuses on general ledger maintenance and supporting a new financial system transition.

Under the Finance Director's guidance, the contractor will facilitate timely financial operations while adapting to an upgraded financial system. Key activities include journal posting coordination, data validation, reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements to ensure seamless financial closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate journal postings with financial teams

• Validate financial data for system implementation

• Reconcile GL ledger including benefit allocations

• Monitor cash balances and recommend transfers

• Assist with audit requests and financial analyses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience

• Knowledge of financial legislation and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
