Temporary GL Accountant

Position: Temporary GL Accountant at Tabor Village
Support Tabor Village’s financial operations as a temporary GL Accountant. This six-month contract role focuses on maintaining the General Ledger and supporting system implementation.

You will work under the Finance Director to manage financial data during a transition to a new system. Your responsibilities include maintaining the General Ledger, performing reconciliations, and facilitating process improvements. You'll ensure timely journal postings by collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate timely journal postings for financial close

• Validate financial data during system implementation

• Prepare and reconcile benefit expense allocations

• Monitor cash balances and recommend transfers

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience

• Knowledge of financial legislation and standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
