Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our Company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, recording financial data, and overseeing various office functions. This position requires a proactive individual with solid organizational skills, high level communication and the ability to multitask.

Job Duties
  • Answer and respond to general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to general requests for information in an accommodating manner.
  • Receive clients/visitors in a professional manner.
  • Sort/prioritize/answer incoming mail, emails, messages and forward to appropriate staff.
  • Accounts receivable:
    Prepare customer invoices, record payments, some collections.
  • Accounts payable:
    Record all payables and prepare payments to vendors.
  • Report payroll to payroll service.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings.
  • Code and file material according to the procedures.
  • Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
  • Provide support to other staff.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
Job Requirements
  • Education:

    Post-secondary education in a recognized accounting program, an accounting/bookkeeping certificate or diploma, or business administration diploma, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years bookkeeping (Quickbooks)
    • 2+ years Administration
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Personal Suitability

    • Organized
    • Detail Oriented and ability to problem solve
    • Strong verbal, written and communication skills

    Language:
    English required.

    Job Type: Full-time.

    Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour.

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week.
