National Warranty Writer (RV / Automotive)
$24.00–$29.00 per hour | Full‑time | Abbotsford, BC
OverviewJoin Fraserway RV, Canada’s largest coast‑to‑coast RV dealership, and use your warranty expertise to support service teams nationwide. As a key member of our national operations you will help drive quality and efficiency across the company while enjoying opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities- Review repair work orders to determine warranty eligibility and ensure claims are complete and accurate.
- Interpret manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Determine financial responsibility between manufacturer warranty, vendor, internal, or customer pay.
- Obtain required authorizations and submit accurate warranty claims.
- Monitor submitted claims, resolve denials or shortages, and maximize warranty recovery.
- Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Service Managers, and manufacturer representatives to ensure repairs meet warranty requirements.
- Provide guidance on warranty documentation, repair validation, and submission best practices.
- Support technicians by coordinating repair procedures and technical guidance with manufacturers when required.
- Identify warranty trends, assist with recalls, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Manage priorities independently while thriving in a collaborative national team environment.
- Experience in warranty administration, warranty writing, service advising, or warranty claims processing, preferably within the RV, automotive, heavy truck, agricultural equipment, or powersports industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty programs, OEM policies, and claim submission processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong computer, data entry, and documentation skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Experience with IDS or similar dealer management software.
- Experience supporting multiple dealership or service locations.
- Familiarity with recalls, manufacturer authorizations, and warranty recovery processes.
