Payroll Administrator Plant Operations

Manage payroll adjustments and employee attendance records at Grand River Foods in a full-time, nine-month plant administration assignment. Use Dayforce and Excel.

Reporting to the Plant Controller, this payroll and administrative clerk role supports hourly and salary employees. Responsibilities include timekeeping, vacation entries, absenteeism monitoring, payroll reporting, temporary worker reconciliation, and office administration. Success requires organization, initiative, communication, and problem-solving.

• Record and review hourly and salary attendance adjustments
• Enter vacation time and sick calls in Dayforce
• Prepare daily, weekly, and bi-weekly payroll reports
• Track temporary worker hours and reconcile invoices
• Maintain organized files and complete administrative duties

• Minimum two years payroll and administrative experience
• Post-secondary education required
• Strong MS Office and Excel computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving within predetermined guidelines
