Your area of focusAs a Lot Attendant, responsibilities include transporting customers and personnel, cleaning vehicles, managing lot organization, and supporting dealership operations.
Responsibilities- Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
- Perform building and grounds maintenance as required
- Assist with Service and Sales department duties
- Daily organization and parking of vehicles for sale and service department
- Remove vehicle protective coverings and prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
- Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning and report any damage immediately
- Assist with service write‑ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
- Assist with shop clean‑up and deliveries when needed
- Clean off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (e.g., snow removal)
- Identify lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager
- Place signage in and on vehicles for advertising purposes
- Monitor and organize vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process
- Maintain lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in automotive industry and knowledge of vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience working with cleaning products and tools including power washers is an asset
- Dependable, reliable, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
