About The Opportunity

This fast-growing civil construction contractor specializes in infrastructure, earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, road construction, across the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver region. With over 15 years of industry experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex civil and infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Known for its collaborative culture and commitment to quality workmanship, the organization works closely with developers, municipalities, and general contractors on projects ranging from large-scale site servicing and roadworks to utilities, excavation, and municipal infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Manage civil construction projects from tender through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, tender submissions, and construction budgets for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to support successful project execution.
  • Monitor project performance through cost control, forecasting, progress tracking, billing, and change management.
  • Lead procurement activities including purchasing materials, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating subcontractor agreements and scopes of work.
  • Conduct site inspections, attend progress meetings, and provide operational and technical support to field operations.
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, as-built drawings, permits, schedules, progress reports, and closeout packages.
  • Ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards, environmental plans, and risk management procedures are consistently implemented.
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and internal management teams to coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, scheduling, and production targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while supporting project planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proficient in Estimating software
  • 5-10 years’ experience in construction management
  • Substantial experience in large-scale heavy civil projects.
Compensation
  • Salary: $105,000 - $115,000
