Experienced Foreman in Construction

An experienced Foreman is needed to oversee operations and safety in construction projects. This role requires substantial work hours, including evenings and weekends during peak times.

As a Foreman, you will take charge of site safety practices, coordinate with project management, and supervise a team of workers. Your expertise in heavy equipment operations, incident management, and safety documentation will help ensure compliance and operational excellence. You will also manage equipment checks and assist in quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety meetings and toolbox discussions

• Supervise daily site activities and worker performance

• Conduct equipment checks and minor repairs

• Document quality assurances and manage permits

• Implement excavation plans effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years heavy equipment experience

• Supervisory experience of at least 2 years

• Driver’s license and insurable driving record required

• Certifications in CSTS 2020 or SCOT, WHMIS 2015 needed

• Proficiency in English for communication
