Site Safety and Environmental Coordinator

Lead safety initiatives as a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator focused on construction sites.

Your role includes compliance monitoring and proactive hazard prevention.

Bringing a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction safety will be key to your success. You'll conduct job site inspections, facilitate training on essential safety protocols, and ensure adherence to OHS regulations. Additionally, you’ll review subcontractor safety submissions and compile safety-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage safety training sessions on-site

• Perform routine job inspections to identify hazards

• Compile and analyze health and safety statistics

• Ensure continuous compliance with safety regulations

• Assist in managing subcontractors’ safety documentation

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in construction safety needed

• In-progress or active NCSO designation required

• In-depth knowledge of OHS regulations essential

• Valid Advanced First Aid certification for Alberta

• Ability to effectively enforce safety standards
