Position: Estimator for Mass Timber Projects
Join Structure Craft as a Mass Timber Estimator, serving leading clients in timber construction from our Abbotsford, BC office. This full-time role focuses on estimating for high-impact timber structures.

You will play a key role in our Business Development team, leveraging your expertise in mass timber to create accurate and efficient project estimates. Your insights will be crucial in procuring materials and communicating effectively with clients, architects, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This position is essential for supporting our growth in the mass timber construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with mass timber suppliers for cost insights

• Work closely with engineering and project teams during preconstruction

• Estimate labor costs and site conditions for timber projects

• Create budgets, proposals, and material takeoffs

• Engage with clients by providing pricing and samples

Requirements:

• Completion of a civil or construction engineering technology program

• At least 3 years of mass timber estimating experience

• Strong skills in Excel and experience using Bluebeam

• Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal

• Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks
