Entry-Level Estimator at Arctic Arrow

Embark on your estimating career with Arctic Arrow in Abbotsford, BC, as a Junior Estimator. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in all facets of construction estimating.

Reporting to the Director of Project Services, you'll collaborate closely with the Lead Estimator and Senior Staff to develop cost estimates for proposals.

Your role will focus on quantity takeoffs, cost compilation, and coordinating sub-trade pricing, while gaining experience in estimating systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing estimates and bid documentation

• Review specifications and drawings for scope determination

• Maintain organized files and supplier pricing documents

• Support obtaining subcontractor and rental pricing

• Contribute to post-bid analysis as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in construction management or related field

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office software

• Foundational knowledge of construction estimating principles

• Willingness to learn from senior estimators
