Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre is looking for two full-time General Anesthesiologists to support its growing elective surgical volumes. This role involves working across various specialties including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, and more. You will have the opportunity to anesthetize pediatric patients and contribute to acute pain services while being on a departmental on-call schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide anesthesia care for elective and urgent surgeries
• Anesthetize pediatric patients aged 4 and over
• Deliver acute pain services and emergency calls
• Conduct consults and ECT procedures as necessary
• Work collaboratively with a team of 15 Anesthesiologists
Requirements:
• Full medical qualification in Anesthesiology
• Experience with pediatric anesthesia and various surgical procedures
• Willingness to engage in on-call duties
• Commitment to a culturally safe work environment
• International medical graduates encouraged to apply
