In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and campus offices to develop and coordinate outreach efforts that resonate with students. Responsibilities will include delivering information literacy instruction, conducting research consultations, and coordinating impactful events. Emphasis on equity and inclusion is vital as you work to reshape library services and contribute to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engagement programs for non-traditional students
• Deliver information literacy instruction and workshops
• Facilitate marketing campaigns for library initiatives
• Organize library events with cross-campus collaboration
• Support the Student Engagement Working Group’s activities
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science
• Two years of experience in an academic setting preferred
• Excellent communication and digital literacy skills
• Collaborative approach to project management
• Knowledge of equity-related issues affecting library services
Lead transformative outreach efforts at UFV and foster a culturally inclusive library experience for all students.
