Advance nursing education as a dedicated Nursing Instructor focusing on clinical and theoretical education. Inspire students in NURS 100 through comprehensive teaching methodologies.
In this role, you will mentor aspiring nurses, overseeing their clinical training and facilitating academic support. Your responsibilities include improving educational materials and ensuring alignment between theory and practice. Regular scholarly participation and contributions to curriculum enhancements are essential, as well as your advocacy for student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing students
• Contribute to curriculum assessment and class material improvements
• Clarify clinical expectations and manage student placements
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain active engagement in professional activities
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in nursing required
• Current professional nurse licensure essential
• At least two years of direct patient care as an RN
• Minimum one year teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of ATI and online learning systems advantageous
