Position: Librarian for Student Engagement UFV
Join the University of the Fraser Valley as a dynamic Librarian dedicated to student outreach and engagement initiatives. This role focuses on meeting diverse needs within the UFV community, particularly non-traditional students.

In this position, you will lead the development of programs and outreach efforts aimed at enhancing library accessibility and services for all students. Working under the University Librarian, you will support information literacy, coordinate events, and promote inclusive library resources. Collaboration with campus colleagues and community partners is essential to ensure the success of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead outreach and engagement initiatives tailored for students

• Assess and refine library programs based on feedback

• Provide research help and instructional support

• Market library services effectively across campus

• Facilitate connections with community partners and campus departments

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science

• At least two years in an academic library environment

• Proven written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities

• Understanding of issues related to equity and inclusion

Contribute to a more engaged and equitable library environment for all UFV students.
