Elevate the learning experience as an Instructor for the Medical Laboratory Assistant program. This temporary position involves teaching in Abbotsford and Chilliwack and demands a strong commitment to education.
The Continuing Education department invites applications from qualified instructors for the Medical Laboratory Assistant program. A Registered Cardiology Technology Diploma and extensive cardiology experience are essential. You will be responsible for guiding students through course materials, assessing their progress, and implementing various teaching strategies to foster an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instructional content for medical laboratory courses

• Develop course materials to achieve defined learning outcomes

• Grade assignments and document student participation

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Utilize LMS and technology for educational delivery
Requirements:

• Registered Diploma in Cardiology Technology from a recognized institution

• Five years of recent cardiology experience

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other digital tools

• Commitment to Indigenization practices in education

• Membership in professional associations related to cardiology
