MEI Middle School Grade Seven Educator

Become a Grade Seven Educator at MEI Middle School and enrich students' lives with a strong Christian ethos. This full-time role involves teaching various subjects including Science and Drama.

MEI is committed to a holistic education for its approximately 1600 students, and this position is vital for nurturing their Christian development. Starting on September 2, 2026, this temporary teaching role concludes on June 23, 2027. Applicants will be BC Certified Teachers and must agree to the MEI Staff Covenant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Bible, Science, Math, Career Ed, and Drama

• Create a supportive Christian learning environment

• Evaluate and report on student performance

• Collaborate effectively with the academic team

• Participate in student-centered activities and assessments

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teacher Certification

• Education degree with necessary qualifications

• Commitment to MEI’s mission and values

• Excellent communication skills

• Requirement for a personal faith statement detailing baptism
