Position Overview
MEI Middle School is seeking a Grade Seven Homeroom Teacher (1.0 FTE) for the school year, starting September 2, 2026 through June 23, 2027.
ResponsibilitiesThe teacher will develop and deliver instruction in Science, Bible, Math, Career Education, and Drama for Grade Seven students.
Qualifications- BC Certified Teacher status with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare, a university degree, and completion of a skilled teacher education program.
- Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and willingness to sign an MEI Staff Covenant affirming adherence to MEI Schools' Christian values.
- Submission of resume, transcripts, references, and a statement of faith detailing place and date of baptism.
The annual salary will be determined by qualifications and experience on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid and ranges from $69,050 to $113,295 for a full‑time BC Certified Teacher.
Position will remain open until filled.
