MEI Education Assistant

Position: MEI Full-Time Education Assistant Role
Support the educational journey of students at MEI Secondary School as a dedicated Education Assistant starting September 2, 2026. This full-time position emphasizes 1-1 academic and life skills support.

As part of an independent Christian school serving approximately 1,600 students, this position requires a commitment to uphold MEI's Christian values. Successful candidates should possess EA certification and be skilled in providing personalized support. The role spans around 30 hours per week, encompassing supervision duties across the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored 1-1 academic support to students

• Foster development of essential life skills

• Supervise during breaks and activities

• Work closely with teachers to address student needs

• Promote a Christian atmosphere in all activities

Requirements:

• Preferred EA certification for all applicants

• Strong commitment to Christian education

• Experience in special education settings is a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively with students

• Submit a personal statement of faith with application
