Full-Time Humanities Teacher

Shape young minds as a full-time Grade 8 Humanities Teacher at Dasmesh Punjabi School in Abbotsford, BC, in August 2026. This role focuses on English and Social Studies while fostering a supportive learning environment.

As the anchor teacher for a Grade 8 cohort, you'll guide students through their pivotal transition from childhood to young adulthood. Your responsibilities include teaching BC curriculum English and Social Studies, conducting assessments, and building strong relationships to ensure students feel known and safe. You'll also serve as the homeroom teacher, creating a positive community that supports social and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language Arts 8 and Social Studies 8

Requirements:

• BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification or eligibility
