Robotics and Design Teacher

Embark on an exciting journey at Dasmesh Punjabi School as a full-time Teacher specializing in Robotics, Design, and Makerspace for Grades 8–12. This role invites innovative educators to shape a hands-on learning environment conducive to exploration and creativity.

DPS is an independent K–12 school in Abbotsford, BC, currently seeking a passionate educator to lead its new robotics and design program. With a focus on STEM and Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies education, you will curate a dynamic makerspace that inspires student-driven projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach robotics and design courses aligned to the BC curriculum

• Create and manage an engaging makerspace for students

• Develop competency-based units and assess student progress

• Establish a competitive VEX robotics team through skill development

• Cultivate a studio culture of curiosity and teamwork

Requirements:

• BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification or eligibility

• Hands-on experience in robotics, engineering, or related fields

• Builder’s mindset for problem-solving and design processes
