Health and Safety Advisor

Position: Contract Health and Safety Advisor
Join Trans Mountain as a Health and Safety Advisor in Abbotsford, British Columbia on a contract basis.

Your role will be vital in implementing safety programs and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations.

As part of the EHS Department, you will promote a culture of safety and assist in driving operational excellence. This role includes collaboration with operational teams and engaging in incident investigations, safety training, and inspections. Your contributions will help create a safer environment for all employees and contractors at Trans Mountain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance safety culture through employee engagement

• Actively participate in EHS collaboration meetings

• Drive the implementation of safety programs

• Support operational teams during safety assessments

• Conduct inspections and facilitate regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• 5+ years in industrial health and safety

• Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Knowledge of Incident Command Systems

• Valid Driver's license and Passport
