About the Role

As a Mechanical Designer at Advanced Material Handling, you will play a vital role in our engineering and design team. Your primary focus will be to develop innovative designs for custom material handling systems, ensuring optimal functionality and manufacturability. • Design Development:
  Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the fabrication, sales, and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into feasible designs.
• Blueprint Analysis:
  Analyze project blueprints and customer requirements to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs.
• Problem Solving:
  Identify and resolve design challenges to optimize efficiency and manufacturability.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct design reviews to verify accuracy, compliance with standards, and readiness for production.
• Documentation:
  Maintain and update technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and revision records.
• Innovation:
  Recommend and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reduce costs.

• Education:
  
  Diploma or degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years in mechanical design, preferably in material handling or a similar industry.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
