Induction Maintenance Aircraft Engineer at Conair

Join Conair in Abbotsford, BC as an Induction Maintenance Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME). Contribute to our aerial firefighting operations by ensuring aircraft maintenance and safety standards.

This full-time permanent role involves working with Conair's specialized fleet during their conversion to air tankers. As an AME, you’ll perform heavy maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and execute major component replacements, all while adhering to Transport Canada requirements. Your expertise and judgment will be vital in maintaining aircraft safety and operational efficiency within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance on production aircraft and projects

• Ensure compliance with Conair and Transport Canada standards

• Prioritize personal safety and teamwork with colleagues

• Complete tasks and paperwork promptly and accurately

• Assist in inspections and evaluations for airframe readiness

Requirements:

• Valid Transport Canada Licenses M1 or M2

• Completed AME category M training course

• Knowledge of CAR regulations and safety practices

• Mechanical proficiency and ability to learn quickly

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
