Position: Contract Electrical Project Engineer Role
Insight Global is seeking a Contract Electrical Project Engineer for a mining initiative in Northwest BC. Embrace a hands-on role on a FIFO schedule with direct field involvement.

This position invites engineers who thrive in construction environments, offering opportunities to work closely with contractors and manage key project components. You’ll interpret electrical drawings, manage RFIs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines. Effective communication skills are crucial for liaising with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and utilize electrical drawings and specifications

• Coordinate with subcontractors for seamless project execution

• Manage RFIs and NCRs during the project phase

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety reporting

• Monitor performance metrics for electrical project execution

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience

• Proven hands-on field experience, not just office-based

• Strong reporting and oversight skills

• Familiarity with Aconex or similar software

• FIFO experience preferred for remote project work
