The City of Abbotsford is searching for a knowledgeable sustainability professional to contribute to the Environmental Services Division.

Your role will involve leading climate action initiatives and improving energy efficiency in alignment with the city’s strategic goals. You will interact with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of policies and community programs that address climate impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor climate action initiatives

• Develop and promote community energy programs

• Conduct research on energy policies and regulations

• Facilitate collaboration with industry and utility counterparts

• Direct and support project initiatives impacting climate

Requirements:

• Degree in energy management or environmental science

• At least five years of relevant experience

• Expert knowledge of climate action policies

• Proficient project management and communication skills
