We are seeking a proactive and licensed Mortgage Assistant to join our expanding team. This unique role blends underwriting support with business-development responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who understands mortgage structuring and enjoys building client relationships.

You will work closely with our mortgage brokers, lender partners, and internal team to ensure smooth application flow, strong client communication, and high-quality submissions.

• Review, assess, and input residential and commercial mortgage applications
• Conduct targeted cold-calling, follow-ups, and outreach to generate new relationships
• Nurture leads and convert them into active mortgage opportunities
• Collaborate with the broker team to identify growth opportunities and improve deal flow
• Support marketing and client-engagement initiatives as needed
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track all communication and follow-up activities
• Provide ongoing application support to brokers
• Assist with documentation collection, compliance tasks, and condition fulfilment

• Active BC mortgage broker or sub-mortgage broker license (required)
• Experience in mortgage underwriting, lending, or brokering is an asset
• Strong understanding of lender guidelines and mortgage product structures
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills
• Comfort with outbound calling, lead follow-up, and relationship building
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
