Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end FP&A cycle, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long‑range planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Build GAAP and cash‑based forecasts, including short‑and‑medium‑term cash flow and 13‑week liquidity views.
  • Develop unit economics and driver‑based models (retention, pricing, CAC, content investment) to guide growth and marketing spend.
  • Lead monthly variance analysis and financial reviews; surface risks, opportunities, and clear executive‑level insights.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results to identify trends and performance drivers.
  • Support fundraising, financing, banking, and government funding initiatives with financial models and reporting.
  • Partner with department heads on budget v. actuals, forward‑looking planning, and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to connect finance, product, marketing, and operations data into a cohesive planning environment.
  • Identify cost efficiencies and revenue expansion opportunities through deep analysis of cost structure and revenue streams.
  • Own FP&A tools, models, and dashboards, delivering CFO‑ and board‑ready insights and real‑time scenario analysis.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major, or equivalent professional strategic finance experience.
  • CPA and/or CFA designation preferred.
  • Experience working in companies in software‑as‑a‑service, and in particular, direct to consumer.
  • Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization.
  • Experience with ERPs – and Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
