Neonatal Dietitian

Position: Neonatal Dietitian at Fraser Health
Elevate the nutritional care of infants at Fraser Health as a Dietitian in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Contribute your expertise in clinical nutrition to support vulnerable populations every day.

This role requires a registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services for low birth weight and premature infants. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop tailored care plans, and monitor responses to nutritional interventions. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is key, as is participation in research and community outreach programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess nutritional needs of infants using clinical evaluations

• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans

• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal care

• Conduct educational sessions for staff and caregivers

• Maintain records and document nutrition plans accurately

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and dietetic internship completion

• Two years clinical and research experience required

• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals

• Knowledge of biochemistry and human metabolism needed

• Ability to teach and communicate effectively
