As a Clinical Nutrition Technician, you will support the Registered Dietitian by reviewing medical records and engaging with patients for nutrition assessments. You'll work closely with the Food Services team to ensure diet plans meet individual needs. The role prioritizes cultural safety and effective communication while allowing for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individualized nutrition screenings and assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to review patient diets
• Educate patients on dietary guidelines and nutrition plans
• Document all assessments in electronic medical records
• Enhance food services by reporting patient feedback
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized food service program
• One year related experience desirable
• Nutrition assessment courses preferred
• Strong conflict resolution and communication abilities
• Proficient in client care documentation
