Nutritional Support Technician at Food Service

Make a difference as a Nutritional Support Technician within Food Service, where you’ll handle patient diet needs and fulfill nutritional screenings. Engage directly with patients to ensure their dietary requirements are met.

As a Nutritional Support Technician, your primary function will involve supporting the Dietitian Practice Leader to conduct screenings and gather essential dietary data from patients. You'll update and maintain accurate records in our computerized systems while ensuring safety regulations are followed. Your insights into patient nutrition will enable the healthcare team to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct dietary assessments during patient rounds

• Update and chart diet-related information effectively

• Screen for malnutrition risk using standardized methods

• Maintain inventory of specialty formulas and supplies

• Schedule and supervise Food & Nutrition Services staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized two-year Food Service program

• Minimum one year of relevant experience

• Current Food Safe Level II certification

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to physically perform job duties
