Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity
Enhance healthcare at Abbotsford Regional Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position combines patient care responsibilities with technical work in nuclear medicine, enhancing services in the community.

The role involves performing various diagnostic tasks, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, you ensure effective care, supporting both patients and operational excellence within Fraser Health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Correlate clinical history and explain test procedures to patients

• Monitor patients’ vital signs during examinations

• Dispense and manage radioactive materials safely

• Conduct quality control on radiopharmaceutical preparations

• Keep accurate records of patient interactions and billing

Requirements:

• Must hold CAMRT certification in Nuclear Medicine

• CPR certification at Basic Life Support (BCLS) level required

• Knowledge of PACS and nuclear medicine safety practices

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in healthcare settings

• Physical ability to perform job-related duties
