Empower clients' recovery as a Community Occupational Therapist at Fraser Health! Specialize in delivering therapy services for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.
As part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team, deliver comprehensive assessments and engage clients in customized interventions. You'll collaborate with community partners to ensure an effective rehabilitation experience, driving positive functional outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate clients’ functionalities and develop appropriate interventions
• Provide leadership in group and individual treatment sessions
• Conduct home assessments and recommend resources
• Engage with community agencies for client support
• Monitor progress and suggest program improvements
Requirements:
• Two years experience in mental health or substance use settings
• Current full registration with the relevant BC health authority
• Valid BC Class V Driver's License required for duties
• Effective knowledge of recovery practices and mental health legislation
• Strong collaborative and advocacy skills in community settings
