Support patient rehabilitation efforts as a Rehabilitation Assistant at Fraser Health. Engage in delivering tailored treatments aimed at improving mobility and daily living capacities.
In this vital role, you will operate under the guidance of qualified health professionals, executing specific components of rehabilitation plans. You'll focus on monitoring patient changes, documenting progress, and assisting with therapeutic training. You’ll work within a collaborative healthcare team committed to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement mobility and rehabilitation exercises as directed
• Record patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Conduct functional skills training for patients and families
• Manage therapy equipment maintenance and supplies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care plans
Requirements:
• Education in a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Physical capability to meet job demands
• Proficient in operating and maintaining therapeutic equipment
• Organizational skills and ability to adapt in dynamic settings
