As a Casual Cardiology Technologist at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, your key tasks will include performing ECG, stress tests, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitoring. You will play a crucial role in patient care by explaining procedures and summarizing test results for physicians. This position offers a chance to work collaboratively while ensuring high-quality health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ECG, stress, holter, and ABP testing
• Prepare patients and clarify procedures
• Analyze test strips and summarize outcomes
• Document pacemaker interactions under supervision
• Update patient information in Meditech EHR
Requirements:
• Diploma in Cardiology Technology or equivalent
• Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists certification
• Two years recent experience in the field
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Physical capability for job functions
