Contribute to child development as a Rehabilitation Assistant at the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre. This position supports clinical services in the Early Intervention Program for children ages 0-5.
Working under the supervision of the Family Services Department Leader, this part-time role involves implementing and documenting intervention plans. You will also interact with families, helping them navigate their roles as caregivers. Collaboration with broader clinical teams is essential for making adjustments that benefit children's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement clinical intervention plans for young clients
• Develop and prepare necessary resources for sessions
• Guide families in strategies from intervention plans
• Document client progress and interventions accurately
• Participate actively in team meetings and discussions
Requirements:
• High school diploma required (Grade 12)
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Training in Rehabilitation or Therapy Assistance is an asset
• Must possess reliable transportation
• Valid class 5 driver's license required
