· Employee Referral Program We are looking for a reliable, tech-savvy, and solution-focused Systems Administrator to support our growing team. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to office and field staff across multiple locations, ensuring systems, devices, and software are operating efficiently to support our fast-paced restoration operations.
The ideal candidate is patient, organized, proactive, and enjoys troubleshooting technology issues while delivering excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide frontline technical support to office and field employees for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network issuesSet up and configure computers, monitors, phones, tablets, user accounts, and email access for new hiresManage Cell Phone plans and data usage, utilising MiradorTroubleshoot Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other company software platformsSupport restoration specific software such as Xactimate, Xact Analysis, CRM systems, and file management platformsMaintain IT inventory including laptops, monitors, phones, and accessoriesRespond to help desk tickets and prioritize requests in a timely mannerSupport Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, VPN access, and printer troubleshooting across multiple office locationsManage software licenses user permissions, and access controlsMaintain cybersecurity best practices including password management, software updates, antivirus monitoring, and user educationSupport employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT and systems access perspectiveDocument IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, system configurations, and operational workflowsProvide occasional after-hours support for urgent operational needs or emergency response needsManage phone system support, call routing, and on-call scheduling updatesIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative and operational tasksCollaborate with managers and leadership to evaluate and implement AI tools and technologies that improve operational efficiencyAssist leadership with technology planning, systems improvements, and ongoing operational efficienciesMonitor and escalate recurring technical issues to improve long-term system reliability and user experienceQualificationsPrevious experience in an IT support, help desk, or technical support role preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systemsExperience supporting multiple office locationsKnowledge of restoration industry software such as Xactimate or Xact AnalysisExperience with VoIP phone systemsBasic cybersecurity knowledgeIT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certificationsExperience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device issuesFamiliarity with networking basics, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and cloud-based systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentValid driver’s license and reliable transportationBy joining Service Master Restore, you'll be part of an industry leading company that has been in Canada for more than 65 years with locations from coast to coast.
