Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Data Lead (8+ years) to lead Maximo data migration and readiness activities within an asset management program
Join a large-scale asset management transformation initiative supporting enterprise data migration and operational readiness activities. This role leads Maximo-related data initiatives across migration planning, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and data governance within an asset-intensive environment. The position supports a multi-stream implementation program involving business stakeholders, system integrators, and enterprise operational teams.
40 hours/ week. Client based in BC but open to remote across Canada.
Must Haves- 8+ years leading enterprise data initiatives within EAM, ERP, or asset-intensive environments
- 3-5+ years of direct IBM Maximo implementation and migration experience
- Experience leading data migration activities from legacy maintenance, asset management, or operational systems into Maximo
- Expertise with data cleansing
, profiling, enrichment, reconciliation, and validation processes - Education and qualifications as provided by the client
- Experience migrating between Maximo versions
- Experience migrating from another EAM platform into Maximo
- Experience with in transportation, utilities, marine, infrastructure, or public sector organizations
- Prior experience working with Systems Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, or IBM Consulting
- Familiarity with enterprise transformation programs exceeding $10M in project value
- Lead all Maximo-related data activities for the program
- Coordinate migration planning, execution, and validation activities with the System Integrator data migration team
- Lead data readiness efforts including profiling, assessment, cleansing, enrichment, and gap remediation
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to identify incomplete or inaccurate asset, material, and maintenance data
- Support data governance, ownership, retention, and stewardship activities
- Facilitate resolution of migration exceptions, reconciliation findings, and data quality issues
- Support testing activities related to converted data including SIT, UAT, and cutover readiness
