Maintenance Technician

Short-Term Maintenance Technician Contract | Abbotsford | $30-$32/hr | Immediate Opportunity Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician in the Property Management Sector in Abbotsford, British Columbia. We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a 2 to 3-month contract opportunity in Abbotsford. This role is ideal for someone with residential property maintenance experience who enjoys a mix of building operations, preventative maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and resident support.

You'll help ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained residential community while delivering exceptional service to residents.

• $30.00 - $32.00 hourly
• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $30.00 to $32.00 per hour

• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and amenity spaces
• Maintain exterior areas including parking, rooftops, patios, and grounds
• Complete seasonal maintenance including snow removal and pressure washing
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
• Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs within residential suites
• Coordinate vendor and contractor access and onsite activities
• Conduct inspections, suite turnovers, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain service records and participate in on-call support as required

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate hands‐on experience in residential property maintenance
• Apply knowledge of workplace safety practices and WHMIS requirements
• Operate smartphones and communication devices effectively
• Understand building systems including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and generators
• Maintain flexibility for on‑call duties and after‑hours emergencies
• Build positive working relationships with residents and contractors
• Successfully pass a criminal record check
