Custodian Role with Fraser Valley Child Development

Reporting directly to the Facilities Administrator, this role plays a key role in the daily operations of the Centre. Your responsibilities will span cleaning, minor repairs, and inventory management, all while ensuring a safe environment for children and youth. You will help implement high hygiene standards and assist during social events, embodying the Centre's core values of respect and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain various Centre facilities

• Manage custodial equipment and request repairs as needed

• Support event setups by moving furniture and equipment

• Ensure availability of cleaning supplies in common areas

• Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum six months related experience preferred

• Class 5 BC Driver's License and reliable transport

• Able to complete WHMIS certification

• Must pass a criminal record check
