Aircraft Maintenance Engineer BC

Contribute to firefighting efforts as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Conair in Abbotsford, British Columbia. This full-time role focuses on the maintenance and conversion of specialized aircraft.

At Conair, you will take on the role of Induction Maintenance Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, ensuring the safety and compliance of aircraft undergoing conversion to air tankers. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, from heavy maintenance to assisting colleagues in a well-coordinated team. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance across Conair's flight fleet

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards

• Complete maintenance documentation accurately

• Support fellow team members professionally

• Keep current on all policy updates and aircraft regulations

Requirements:

• Must possess Transport Canada Licences M1 or M2

• Successful completion of certification with an accredited organization

• Knowledge of aircraft structure and components

• Ability to learn quickly and perform tasks independently

• Capable of handling physically demanding work conditions
