Heavy Duty Forklift Driver Wood Yard

Overview

We are looking for a skilled HD Forklift Driver with a safe, reliable work history in the wood industry. You must be properly trained and licensed, with recent experience handling full‑size lumber and preferably high‑value wood products. This role requires a reliable individual who can work well with others and be a key part of a proven production team.

• Loading and off‑loading semi‑truck trailers.
• Organizing, sorting and moving stock around the yard, and ensuring flow to main production lines.
• Ensuring proper storage of goods under cover.
• Following and completing paperwork.
• Coordinating with supervisors and other production staff.

• Experience with full‑size lumber packages using a full‑size yard duty forklift.
• Full work history with licensed and safe forklift operation.
• Physical ability to work outdoors/yard year‑round.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada at the time of application.
• Availability to start within one month from hire date.

This is a regular full‑time position in a medium‑sized, two‑shift operation that produces high‑quality value‑added wood products for local and export markets. It is usually a day‑shift position following the standard production schedule.
