Harvesting Labourer in Rural

Join our Abbotsford team as a Harvesting Labourer focused on mushroom crops. This full-time role guarantees a steady salary with 40 to 60 hours of work per week.

You will be responsible for performing physically demanding tasks in a rural farming environment. This involves picking crops and handling farm produce, including loading and unloading crates. Ensure you have transportation and a valid driver’s license to reach the location, as remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harvest mushrooms and other crops by hand

• Manage the loading and unloading of crates and farm supplies

• Assist with the transfer of livestock and poultry

• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness

• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods

Requirements:

• Own transportation is required for this position

• Must have steel-toed safety boots on-site

• A criminal record check is mandatory

• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Must be eligible to work in Canada as a permanent or temporary resident
