Manufacturing Designer at Overlanders Manufacturing

Overlanders Manufacturing is hiring a Manufacturing Designer to combine design skills and production support in an impactful role. Ideal candidates will excel in CAD design and have experience in manufacturing processes.

In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for optimizing component designs and streamlining manufacturing workflows.

Your role supports the collaboration between engineering and production, increasing efficiency across operations. You'll be engaged in hands-on production assistance and play a key role in automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed designs for tubular and sheet metal components

• Develop CNC cutting and forming programs

• Review blueprints for dimensional accuracy

• Optimize manufacturing workflows for cost and quality

• Provide on-site technical support during runs

Requirements:

• Preferred education in Mechanical Engineering or related fields

• At least 2 years in industrial design or process engineering

• Knowledge of CAD software and CNC programming

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing
