Reporting to the Director of Product Development, the Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Collaborating closely with new product teams, you will ensure optimal manufacturability from initial designs. The position requires expertise in CNC processes, multi-axis machining, and inspection methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cycle time reduction initiatives and CNC program revisions
• Optimize tooling and quantify production impact
• Design and improve fixturing for enhanced quality
• Collaborate during design phases for efficiency gains
• Prove new CNC programs and troubleshoot on-site
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Proficient in Solid Works and GibbsCAM
• Hands-on programming and troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of quality control practices and GD&T
• Authorized to work in Canada
