Meat processing and/or packing plant inspector involved in the green economy sector.

• Perform product inspection of meat and meat products.

• Education:
  
  No degree, certificate or diploma.
• Experience:
  
  1 year to less than 2 years in a similar field.
• Authorization to work in Canada.
• Physical capabilities:
  Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling are required.
• Skills:
  
  Accurate, team player, initiative, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, excellent oral communication, client focus, dependability, judgement, reliability, and organized.
• Work setting:
  Cold/refrigerated environment, fast‑paced environment, work under pressure.

Work site environment is cold/refrigerated. The setting is a meat processing and/or packing plant or establishment. Work involves repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding activities, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work is fast‑paced and performed under pressure. Employment terms are day shift.
