Position: Sofina 4th Class Power Engineer Role
Join Sofina Foods in Abbotsford, BC as a skilled 4th Class Power Engineer. Utilize your hands-on experience in boiler operations and mechanical systems maintenance.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining and inspecting all mechanical systems in our Turkey Plant.

Your role is integral in ensuring that production equipment functions efficiently while adhering to safety and company standards. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery

• Monitor boiler systems and mechanical equipment

• Follow HACCP regulations to ensure food safety

• Promote a safe work environment for coworkers and visitors

• Assist with various assigned duties

Requirements:

• 4th Class Power Engineer with a minimum of 1 year hands-on experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems

• Basic math skills and computer literacy

• Strong problem-solving abilities in English
