CNC Machining Leader

Elevate CNC operations at BD Diesel Performance as a CNC Programming Team Lead. Drive continuous improvement and mentor skilled machinists in Abbotsford.

This role focuses on establishing optimal programming methodologies and enhancing throughput within the machine shop. As a leader, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest machining standards and coping with technical challenges effectively. Your leadership will foster collaboration among Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain CNC programming methodologies

• Enhance machining efficiency and quality across operations

• Lead initiatives for reducing scrap and improving throughput

• Design work holding solutions to increase production efficiency

• Mentor team members to adhere to best practices

Requirements:

• Strongly preferred:
Red Seal Journeyman Machinist

• 10 years of CNC machining experience required

• Proven record of cycle time reduction strategies

• Familiarity with GibbsCAM and multi-axis CNC programming

• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and analytical skills
